the blu-ray is unrestrictive to game developers so it makes for the possibility of better games, and at the moment, most people don't have HD-TV's, they will in the future though. So HDMI doesn't matter. You can still get a good resolution through the 20gb PS3 though. Oh yeah, and both models have the blu-ray, cell-chip, hard-drive and oh yeah wireless controllers. So there's no point to upgrade the 20gb ps3. Apparently though you have to upgrade the core 360 to get its full benefit.

So in other words, the core is a crap console, because you have to upgrade it to make it a decent console. Whats the point in the 'core'? At least the core ps3 has a hard-drive, bluray and everything neccesary in it already.
The core 360is a hinderence to the 360 because by not having a hard-drive as standerd, developers cant make the most of the hard drive feature in the 360

If sony has left it too late, then so has nintendo. Sony and nintendo must have felt this was the best time to bring out their consoles.
I think microsoft brought the 360 out too earlier, because by doing that, they've made an inferior console. AKA. an Xbox upgrade. Had it been released this november, it would have included all the add-ons that microsoft are releasing now, that should have been included within the console a year ago. AKA. HD-DVD, HDMI, wi-fi and some decent gam...
But here's hoping the ps3 outshines the 360. Because then people will compare the 2, see the ps3 is better, and they'll want a ps3 no matter the price.
It would be great if virtua tennis used that UCAP technology that EA used for Tiger Woods Golf. Then the players would look fantastic.

Listen, i have no problem with this being a good game. In fact it does look good and its different from anything i've seen. The problem i have is that jay said this was a killer app. Uh no. No matter how good this is, its never going to be killer app material. I mean Lemmings was a brilliant game in itself. Clever, different and its a classic game. But was it ever a killer app like Sonic the Hedgehog was? Viva's good, but its no killer app. Well maybe for the 360 it will be haha
